Brian Capo, chief accounting officer of Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: LYV), sold 2,900 ordinary shares on August 24 at $184 per share for a total of $533,600, according to regulatory filings. The disposal reduced his direct holdings to 8,655 shares.
The sale occurred as LYV traded near its 52-week high of $189.25 and posted a year-to-date gain of 31%.
The transaction follows Live Nation’s Q2 2026 results, which exceeded market expectations. Earnings per share reached $1.05, surpassing the $0.66 forecast, while revenue totaled $7.7 billion against an estimated $7.56 billion. Management attributed the outperformance to strong demand for concerts and ticket sales across multiple regions.
Ticketmaster reported selling 90 million fee-bearing tickets in the quarter, an 8% increase year-over-year.
Analysts have raised their price targets on the stock in response. Guggenheim lifted its target to $218 with a buy rating, while Benchmark and Bernstein each increased their targets to $215, citing sustained concert momentum and upward revisions to adjusted operating income estimates for fiscal 2027.
