Life Time Group, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker LTH, has launched Life Time Social, a member-driven community designed to extend social interactions beyond traditional gym activities.
The initiative will debut with an invite-only event at Life Time Sky in New York on September 12-13, featuring a rooftop gathering on Saturday followed by movement and recovery sessions on Sunday. Additional poolside meetups are scheduled for the afternoon.
The program will expand to selected Life Time locations across the United States, including New York, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, and Southern California. Monthly offerings will include social, wellness, and entertainment experiences tied to local cultural and sporting events, with activities such as rooftop gatherings, workout sessions, recovery programs, and poolside meetups available to both couples and singles interested in fitness-oriented social engagement.
Enrollment for the Life Time Social community will open in mid-September via the company’s app, with a waitlist currently available. Life Time operates more than 195 sports clubs across the U.S. and Canada and employs over 50,000 staff.
Life Time founder, chairman, and CEO Bahram Akradi stated that member feedback prompted the creation of the initiative, highlighting demand for additional ways to connect beyond fitness routines.
