LGT Private Banking has appointed Cord Hinrichs as Head of Multi-Asset Strategies within its Portfolio Management Europe division. The move was effective in September at the bank’s Zurich headquarters.
In his new role, Hinrichs oversees the development, management and oversight of multi-asset investment strategies for European clients. The appointment follows his prior responsibilities as Deputy Head of Investment Analysis and Selection within Portfolio Management Europe, where he previously led the European Fund Strategies and Selection unit.
Hinrichs brings extensive experience in asset management and institutional investing to the position. Before joining LGT, he served as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investor Relations at UNIWASTEC in Zug, while also holding a seat on the company’s board of directors. From 2016 to 2020, he was Head of Asset Allocation and CIO at Corestone Investment Managers in Zug. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade at Suva in Lucerne, including roles as Chief Economist and Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for selecting external asset managers.
Hinrichs joined LGT Private Banking in November 2023 and has since held progressively senior positions within the bank’s European portfolio management operations.
