Zaptec AS, the Norway-based provider of electric vehicle charging systems, posted record revenue for the second quarter, driven by sustained demand for EV infrastructure across Europe.
The company reported gross margins of 41.00% for the quarter, alongside EBITDA of NOK 69 million. Total orders reached NOK 894 million, while the order backlog expanded to NOK 1.12 billion, reflecting strong forward demand.
Zaptec attributed the growth to systematic investments in product development, technology, market expansion, installer partnerships, and operational scalability. The company also highlighted accelerating EV adoption across the region as a key driver of its performance.
Shares of Zaptec closed at NOK 49.60 on August 14, up NOK 1.60, or 3.33%, following the results announcement.
