Kestra Medical Technologies (NASDAQ: KMTS) announced Wednesday the appointment of Curtis Kopf as Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, a newly created position based in Kirkland, Washington.
Kopf will lead the end-to-end patient experience for the company’s ASSURE wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD), overseeing operations from order approval through therapy completion and device return. The role encompasses management of people, processes, and technology supporting healthcare providers and patients using the device.
Kopfs appointment follows Kestra’s strategic investments in commercial capabilities, including artificial intelligence initiatives aimed at driving operating leverage across customer-facing operations. The company said these efforts are designed to advance patient protection technology and enhance support experiences as part of its broader growth strategy.
Prior to joining Kestra, Kopf served as Group Vice President, Global Customer Experience at Insulet Corporation, where he led more than 1,000 employees across digital, customer service, and customer success functions. Before Insulet, he held roles as Chief Experience Officer and Chief Digital Officer at REI, overseeing customer experience, digital, analytics, innovation, and service operations.
Kestra Medical Technologies is a commercial-stage wearable medical device and digital healthcare company focused on cardiovascular disease monitoring and therapeutic intervention technologies. The company did not provide additional financial details regarding the appointment.
Brian Webster, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kestra Medical, said Curtis brings the vision and experience to lead that journey end to end, harnessing data and automation to scale patient support, strengthen performance at every stage, and extend the impact of the ASSURE WCD and the broader Cardiac Recovery System platform to more patients.
