Iveda (NASDAQ: IVDA) has introduced IvedaAir, a new line of autonomous unmanned helicopters designed for public safety and emergency response operations. The platform, powered by the gas-powered GX10-F100 system, offers over 150 minutes of flight endurance, significantly exceeding the capabilities of many electric unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems.
The IvedaAir line integrates with IvedaAI analytics, enabling autonomous waypoint missions, stabilized hover operations, and real-time encrypted video transmission. The system also features AI-powered object detection and supports 4G/5G and LTE-enabled image transmission with AES-encrypted communications. Security and compliance are addressed through NDAA and TAA alignment, with optional FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic modules and Blue UAS-aligned components.
Iveda’s CEO and founder, David Ly, highlighted the need for mission-critical operators to move beyond systems not designed for their operational environments. The drones are available for government procurement through strategic partner GlobalMed via the Defense Logistics Agency’s Tailored Logistics Support contract vehicle, with plans to expand into additional federal procurement channels.
The company aims to capture $50 million in market share within the next 24 months, targeting public safety, maritime and coast guard operations, search and rescue, military logistics support, law enforcement, firefighting, disaster response, energy infrastructure inspection, and construction surveying. The global UAV market is projected to expand from $47.55 billion in 2026 to over $160 billion by 2034, according to industry estimates.
