Investec plc and Investec Limited completed open-market share purchases to fulfill obligations under their 2021 Share Incentive Plans, according to regulatory disclosures.
The London-listed Investec plc acquired 100,000 ordinary shares on each of three consecutive days, with prices ranging from £6.3535 to £6.4045 per share. The total expenditure amounted to £1,911,461.30. Separately, Johannesburg-based Investec Limited executed parallel transactions, purchasing 100,000 shares per day at prices between ZAR 135.3457 and ZAR 136.3184. The South African entity’s total outlay reached ZAR 40,727,110.00.
Both entities confirmed that prior clearance to deal in the securities had been obtained. The disclosures were made to comply with paragraphs 6.78 to 6.89 and 6.90 of the JSE Listings Requirements, which mandate reporting of indirect beneficial on-market acquisitions executed to satisfy participant obligations under share incentive schemes.
The transactions spanned a three-day window from Sunday through Tuesday, aligning with the operational cadence of the respective incentive plans.
