Hon Hai Precision Industry’s subsidiary Q-Edge Corporation has completed the acquisition of an industrial property in Santa Clara, California, for $55.25 million, according to a regulatory filing.
The transaction involves a 110,083 square-foot facility located at 2975 and 3001 Stender Way, with the purchase price translating to approximately $501.88 per square foot. Independent appraisals placed the property’s value between $501.89 and $505.07 per square foot, aligning closely with the negotiated deal terms.
The seller, GVII-LPC STENDER OWNER, LLC, had no prior relationship with Hon Hai or its subsidiaries, according to the filing. The acquisition was approved unanimously by Q-Edge’s board of directors on Wednesday, with payment and delivery terms governed by the asset sale contract signed by both parties. No broker fees were involved in the transaction.
The purchase reflects Hon Hai’s strategic expansion in high-tech manufacturing hubs, with Santa Clara serving as a key location for industrial operations.
