H-Power plc said its LC30 fuel cell generator has received a Declaration of Conformity from TÜV SÜD, certifying compliance with CE marking requirements for sale and deployment in the European Economic Area and the UK.
The 30 kW generator, part of H-Power’s hydrogen-to-power portfolio, is now cleared for commercial use following the August 2026 certification. The company had previously announced plans to align the certification timeline with an order from Speedy Hire plc’s Speedy Hydrogen Solutions joint venture.
Speedy Hire placed a replacement order for 15 LC30 units, which the certification fulfills under the terms of the agreement. H-Power, listed on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, describes the LC30 as part of its low-carbon ammonia-based hydrogen production and conversion solutions.
John Wilson, H-Power’s CEO, said the certification marks a key milestone toward broader commercial deployment of the LC30 platform.
