Investment firm HC Wainwright has designated Strive (ASST) as its top crypto-related stock pick for the second half of 2026, initiating coverage with a buy rating and a $36 price target.
The firm highlighted Strive’s exposure to Bitcoin as a key differentiator, positioning the company to benefit from the digital asset’s anticipated appreciation. HC Wainwright projects Bitcoin will reach $130,000 by the end of 2026, a view that underpins its bullish stance on crypto-linked equities.
Strive’s shares have already shown strong momentum, gaining nearly 80% in August while the Nasdaq rose 2.4% over the same period. Analysts noted that the recent rebound in Bitcoin has contributed to a broader recovery in digital assets, creating a supportive environment for companies with direct exposure to the cryptocurrency market.
The investment thesis also emphasizes the revival of the "debasement trade," reinforcing Bitcoin’s role as a potential hedge against currency devaluation. HC Wainwright’s recommendation reflects growing institutional interest in crypto-related equities amid improving market sentiment.
