Google on Wednesday introduced flexible billing options for its Gemini Enterprise AI agents, including a pay-as-you-go model and discounted savings plans designed to reduce costs for corporate users.
The pay-as-you-go consumption option charges users based on compute and token usage at standard API rates for Gemini Enterprise, with no upfront commitment or base subscription fee. This model can be combined with existing per-user seat subscriptions, which include fixed monthly fees and shared daily quota pools across projects.
Google also launched Gemini Enterprise Flexible Savings Plans, offering discounts on monthly spending without minimum or maximum requirements. A 10% discount applies for one-year commitments, while a 20% discount is available for three-year commitments. These savings plans integrate with existing Google Cloud Enterprise Agreements.
Access to Google Antigravity is now included in Gemini Enterprise subscriptions for select customers, with broader availability planned. Usage across Google Antigravity, the platform, and the app consolidates into a single view. Android Studio AI usage also draws from the same pooled quota included in Gemini Enterprise subscriptions.
Enhanced cost management features have been added to the Google Cloud Billing Console, including project-level spend caps to pause API calls when monthly limits are reached. Anomaly detection identifies unusual spending trends and pinpoints the top three SKUs driving increases. Automated alerts notify users when budget thresholds reach 50%, 80%, and 100%.
