Goldman Sachs increased Nvidia’s price target to $300 from $285 while maintaining a Neutral rating, citing the chipmaker’s strong guidance for calendar year 2027. The firm’s outlook reflects revenue growth expectations of 70% in 2027, with unconstrained demand pointing to potential gains of over 100%. Nvidia’s medium-term gross margin guidance for 2027 is projected between 72% and 73%, compared with its current gross profit margin of 74.15%.
Analyst James Schneider emphasized Nvidia’s commitment to returning over 50% of excess cash flow to shareholders. The stock was trading at $209.66 at the time of the update. Nvidia’s recent July quarter results showed revenue of $96.2 billion, earnings per share of $2.22, and a revenue guidance of $108 billion for the October quarter.
The data center segment revenue in the second quarter reached $89 billion, an increase of 117% year-over-year, driven by demand for Blackwell Ultra and broad-based growth across sectors, according to KeyBanc. Other analysts have also raised their targets: Mizuho set a $315 target, KeyBanc maintained an above-average rating with a $330 target, Melius Research raised its target to $420 with a buy recommendation, JPMorgan lifted its target to $320, and BofA Securities kept a buy rating with a $350 target while raising fiscal 2028 and beyond earnings-per-share estimates.
