Geberit, the Swiss manufacturer of sanitary products, on Monday reported a 2.8% increase in net sales for the first half of 2026, while currency-adjusted sales growth reached 5.9%.
EBITDA for the period rose 3.0% to CHF 529 million, with the company noting that its EBITDA margin remained stable despite elevated material costs. Volume growth was the primary driver behind the higher net sales, while sales price increases helped mitigate the impact of rising raw material expenses and currency losses.
Direct material prices surged during the six-month period, pressuring the company’s profitability. Despite these headwinds, Geberit maintained its full-year outlook, projecting net sales growth in local currencies of between 5% and 6% for 2026. The company also expects its EBITDA margin to hold steady relative to the prior year.
