FingerMotion Inc. has completed the acquisition of a 9.9% stake in Lyken.AI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
The investment, valued at approximately $15 million, underscores FingerMotion’s strategic shift toward AI-driven analytics and data processing solutions. Lyken.AI develops proprietary algorithms for real-time data analysis, with applications in financial services, healthcare, and cybersecurity.
FingerMotion, a provider of digital identity verification and fraud prevention services, did not disclose further financial terms or the method of acquisition. The company’s Chief Executive Officer stated that the stake aligns with its broader digital transformation initiatives.
Lyken.AI has not commented publicly on the transaction. The investment follows FingerMotion’s recent expansion into AI-powered solutions, including partnerships with technology firms in the Asia-Pacific region.
Analysts note that the deal reflects growing corporate interest in AI-driven innovation, particularly in sectors where data security and real-time analytics are critical. FingerMotion’s shares were unchanged in pre-market trading following the announcement.
