Austrian aerospace components manufacturer FACC AG reported first-half 2026 revenue of EUR 526.3 million, an 8.6% increase from EUR 484 million in the same period a year earlier. Earnings before interest and taxes rose 37.9% to EUR 25.3 million, while the EBIT margin expanded by 100 basis points to 4.8%, according to an earnings call transcript.
The company attributed the improvement to strong demand across its key programs, including Airbus’s A350, A220, and A320 families, Boeing’s 787, and Embraer’s Praetor business jets. Free cash flow surged 54% year-over-year to EUR 48.9 million, while net debt leverage stood at 2.05x. Energy costs remained contained at approximately 1.1% of revenue, hedged for the next 12 to 18 months.
FACC raised its full-year 2026 revenue growth guidance to a range of 10% to 15%, up from the prior 5% to 15% outlook. The company also set an EBIT margin target of 5.25% to 6.25% for the year, citing sustained operational momentum and efficiency gains from its CORE program. CEO Robert Machtlinger noted that savings introduced under the program were accelerating as implementation progressed.
Capital expenditures are projected at EUR 350 million through 2030, including a EUR 120 million investment in a new automated aerostructures facility in Austria, slated to begin operations in 2028. The company expects A220 production rates to reach 13 aircraft per month by the end of 2028, aligning with customer demand forecasts.
Despite the positive outlook, FACC’s shares fell 3.34% to USD 16.20 in after-hours trading, extending a recent decline from a 52-week high of USD 19.70. The stock trades at a trailing P/E ratio of 27.72, according to third-party data cited in the transcript.
Management highlighted ongoing supply chain challenges, including inventory levels of approximately EUR 200 million largely tied up in semi-finished goods awaiting missing components. The drone business is expected to generate recurring revenue of EUR 35 million to EUR 45 million in 2026, contributing to diversified growth beyond traditional aerospace segments.
