Instacart will integrate more than 1,000 Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Champs Sports stores into its delivery marketplace, enabling same-day delivery of footwear, apparel and accessories.
The partnership expands Instacart’s retail network to include products from the three brands, which operate across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Instacart’s platform now features merchandise from more than 2,200 retail banners.
Blake Wallace, Instacart’s Vice President of Commercial Partnerships, said Foot Locker is a leading name in footwear and apparel, adding that the company is pleased to welcome the brands to its marketplace. Ashley Chiang, Foot Locker’s Senior Director of Strategy, highlighted the goal of providing faster and more convenient access to the retailer’s products.
The service launched during the back-to-school shopping season, coinciding with a promotional offer. New qualifying customers can receive $15 off purchases of $75 or more from the three brands through Sunday, August 24.
Instacart operates a grocery technology platform in North America, partnering with retailers to enable e-commerce and delivery services. Foot Locker is a footwear and apparel retailer with a global presence.
