F&M Bank announced a board transition as Gregory R. Allen was elected to join the board, while Andrew J. Briggs concluded seven years of service, including a term as chairman from 2024 to 2025.
Briggs, who first joined the F&M Bank board in 2019, attended his final meeting on August 25, 2026. Allen, who will attend his first board meeting on September 29, 2026, brings more than four decades of experience in community banking, economic development, and leadership roles across Ohio and Indiana.
Allen currently serves as Executive Director of the Fostoria Economic Development Corporation, the Fostoria Learning Center, and the Seneca County Land Reutilization Corporation. His background includes executive leadership at WesBanco, Premier Bank, First Federal Bank of the Midwest, The Ohio Bank, and Society Bank & Trust, where he oversaw market leadership, commercial lending, and community banking operations in northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana.
F&M Bank, headquartered in Archbold, Ohio, operates across counties in Ohio, northeast Indiana, and Michigan’s Oakland County. The bank, established in 1897, provides commercial and retail banking services.
