Eos Energy Enterprises has appointed Michelle Buczkowski as chief commercial officer, effective Monday, as part of a leadership transition.
Buczkowski replaces Nathan Kroeker, who will depart the company on October 20, 2026, following a structured transition period. Both executives will collaborate through that date to ensure continuity in commercial operations.
Under Buczkowski’s new role, the company’s sales, business development, government affairs, marketing and communications teams will report to her. She previously served as Eos Energy’s chief administrative officer since November 2025, overseeing government relations, marketing, communications and human resources.
Buczkowski brings more than two decades of experience in the energy sector, including leadership positions at Duquesne Light Company and Consol Energy/CNX Resources. Her tenure at Eos included securing a $24 million Pennsylvania grant to support the company’s manufacturing expansion and leading efforts that resulted in its selection for the Golden Dome program.
Kroeker joined Eos in January 2023 as chief financial officer and became chief commercial officer in 2025. During his time as CFO, he led financing initiatives that secured over $2 billion in capital and financing commitments, including a Cerberus Delayed Draw Term Loan and a Department of Energy loan guarantee.
Eos Energy designs, manufactures and provides zinc-based long-duration energy storage systems in the United States.
