Einride AB introduced Flip AI, an artificial-intelligence platform aimed at streamlining operations for electric fleets, shippers and charging infrastructure operators.
The software automates workflows that fleet managers typically manage manually across disparate systems, including emails, telematics feeds, maintenance portals and charger networks. Flip AI aggregates data from a fleet’s digital stack to generate an operational overview and can autonomously reboot stalled chargers, generate vendor tickets with diagnostic attachments, or dispatch text alerts to managers regarding projected delays.
Flip AI was developed by Flipturn, a charging and energy-management software company acquired by Einride in July 2026. The product marks the first release since the acquisition and aligns with Einride’s strategy to commercialize its underlying technologies and operational expertise as standalone software offerings available to the broader market.
Einride, founded in Stockholm in 2016, specializes in autonomous and electric freight technology and operates Freight-Capacity-as-a-Service and software platforms across North America, Europe and the Middle East. The company’s Saga AI platform underpins Flip AI, according to Chief Executive Officer Roozbeh Charli. “With Flip AI, we make available some of the capabilities we use in our Saga AI platform to other electric fleet and infrastructure operators,” Charli said.
Katie Siegel, Chief Executive Officer of Flipturn, noted that existing AI tools in the sector largely function as data-analytics engines rather than addressing physical operational challenges. Flip AI is available to all fleets and charging operations as of the Aug. 27 launch date.
