Eco Wave Power (NASDAQ: EWPW) said on Tuesday it generated 2,850 kilowatt-hours of electricity in April and 3,120 kWh in May from its wave energy systems.
The figures, disclosed in a regulatory filing, reflect output from the company’s Gibraltar and Israel facilities. Eco Wave Power operates a modular, onshore wave energy technology designed to convert ocean wave motion into electrical power.
The company has not provided comparative benchmarks for prior periods in the filing. Eco Wave Power’s shares trade under the ticker EWPW on the NASDAQ Capital Market.
The disclosure follows recent industry reports highlighting challenges in scaling wave energy projects amid high capital costs and regulatory hurdles.
