Dillard's Inc., the Little Rock, Arkansas-based department store operator, announced it will move its primary stock listings from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE), aligning the company's public-market home with its state of incorporation.
Trading on the NYSE for Dillard's Class A common stock (ticker: DDS) and its 7.50% Capital Securities of Dillard's Capital Trust I (ticker: DDT) is expected to cease at market close on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026. Trading as primary listings on the TXSE is expected to begin at market open on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, the company said.
The listing change follows Dillard's reincorporation from Delaware to Texas in August 2025. The company said no action is required by shareholders or securityholders in connection with the transfer, and existing ticker symbols will be retained on the new exchange.
Texas is already Dillard's largest operating market, with 54 stores across the state. The company operates a total of 272 stores, including 28 clearance centers, in 30 states. Its Texas roots date to 1956, when founder William T. Dillard acquired a store in downtown Tyler, Texas. The company was founded in 1938.
