Cycurion Inc. said on Monday its board of directors has approved a $500,000 share buyback program, effective immediately.
The program authorizes the company to repurchase up to $500,000 of its outstanding common stock in open market transactions, subject to market conditions, legal requirements and other considerations. The buyback is expected to be funded from the company’s existing cash resources.
Cycurion stated the program reflects the board’s confidence in the company’s financial health and long-term growth strategy. The move is also intended to enhance shareholder value by reducing the number of outstanding shares and supporting earnings per share.
The company did not specify a timeframe for the completion of the buyback program. Cycurion shares were last quoted at $4.25 in recent trading, implying the program could cover approximately 117,647 shares at current prices, though execution will depend on market conditions and pricing.
Share buybacks are commonly used by companies to return capital to shareholders or signal undervaluation. Cycurion did not provide additional commentary on the strategic rationale beyond its stated objectives.
