CuriosityStream Inc. said Sean Piche will join as Chief Financial Officer on September 1, 2026, succeeding Brady Hayden. Piche will report to President and CEO Clint Stinchcomb and lead the company’s global finance operations.
The appointment follows CuriosityStream’s second-quarter results, which showed revenue of $23.2 million, up 22% from a year earlier, and net income of $8.9 million. Adjusted EBITDA surged 276% year over year to $11.4 million. The company also reported annualized revenue exceeding $80 million and annualized adjusted EBITDA surpassing $20 million.
Piche brings three decades of finance and accounting experience across media, entertainment, technology, and telecommunications. His most recent role involved providing CFO services to growth-stage companies. Previously, he was a Partner and Global Media & Entertainment Co-Leader at CFGI, advising clients including Comcast NBCUniversal, Paramount Skydance, SiriusXM, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Warner Music Group. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance positions at NBCUniversal and Viacom. Piche is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University.
CuriosityStream said Piche will help shape financial strategy, including capital allocation and strategic partnerships.
