CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. shares jumped 12.6% in extended trading after the cybersecurity company reported fiscal second-quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations and raised its full-year guidance.
The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.31, topping the Wall Street consensus of $0.29. Revenue totaled $1.47 billion, above the $1.44 billion forecast. CrowdStrike also raised its full-year fiscal 2027 earnings guidance, extending a streak of eight consecutive quarters of earnings beats.
Shares traded at $213.10 in after-hours activity, up from a 52-week low of $85.68 and approaching the 52-week high of $227.50. The stock had gained 0.1% during the regular session as broader U.S. equity benchmarks showed muted movement, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq each advancing 0.1% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3%.
Analysts had maintained a bullish stance ahead of the report. Morgan Stanley reiterated an overweight rating, citing strong momentum in products such as Next-Gen SIEM, Falcon Flex, endpoint, cloud, and identity solutions. Of the 50 analysts covering the stock, 33 held a Strong Buy recommendation.
