The quake led to the evacuation of buildings in Bogotá, though authorities reported no damage or injuries. Colombia’s geological service confirmed the event via a social media post.
The tremor occurred at approximately 08:11 local time and was monitored by national seismic networks. No structural impacts or disruptions to critical infrastructure were immediately reported following the incident.
