Cohen & Steers Real Estate Opportunities Fund has acquired Oak Hill Plaza, a shopping center in southwest Austin, Texas, through a joint venture with Trademark Property Company.
The 92.5% occupied property is located at the intersection of US-290 and State Highway 71, an area that has undergone significant infrastructure changes. The completion of a new interchange at the property’s front door has improved visibility, parking, and access, according to James S. Corl, Head of the Private Real Estate Group at Cohen & Steers.
Oak Hill Plaza’s tenant roster includes Wells Fargo, The Picklr, Pluckers, Dollar Tree, and Autozone. The shopping center serves a demographic of approximately 60,000 people within a three-mile radius, with a median household income of $120,000 and a median home value of $688,000, based on CoStar data as of June 11, 2026.
Trademark Property Company, a Fort Worth-based firm, operates a 19-property retail and mixed-use portfolio totaling over 10 million square feet. Cohen & Steers, the New York-based investment manager specializing in real assets and alternative income, oversees the fund.
