Boxabl Names Ex-EY Audit Partner as Audit Committee Chair

BOXABL Inc., a manufacturer of factory-built modular housing units based in North Las Vegas, has appointed Timothy Goldsmith to its board of directors. Goldsmith, who previously served as an audit partner at EY from 2018 to 2026, will chair the company’s Audit Committee and serve on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. His appointment follows the recent hiring of Larry King as chief financial officer and Heather Clayton as chief accounting officer, both of whom were brought in to strengthen BOXABL’s financial and governance structures ahead of its Nasdaq listing under the ticker symbol BXBL, which began on July 20, 2026. The company, founded in 2017, has raised over $230 million from more than 50,000 investors since inception, reflecting significant investor interest in its modular housing solutions. Dr. Morris A. Davis, who previously chaired the Audit Committee and joined the board in December 2025 after serving as Chief Housing Economist for the White House Council of Economic Advisers, remains a member of the committee. Goldsmith’s extensive background includes overseeing over 20 public and private company audits, leading teams of more than 30 audit executives, and working with firms generating revenues ranging from $200 million to over $3 billion. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Economics from Ohio University and is a licensed CPA in Ohio, Georgia, New Jersey, and Nevada. His prior role as a U.S. SEC capital markets and professional practice senior in Hong Kong underscores his experience in regulatory and financial compliance.
