Block, Inc. (NYSE: XYZ) said Owen Britton Jennings, the company’s business lead, sold 1,901 shares of Class A common stock for approximately $154,052 in two trades executed under a pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on Sept. 2, 2025.
The disposals were priced at $80.04 per share on Aug. 21, 2026 and $81.48 per share on Aug. 24, 2026, with the stock last quoted at $81.38. Following the sales, Jennings retains beneficial ownership of 460,128 shares of Block’s Class A common stock.
Separately, Block withheld 17,633 shares valued at $1,412,050 on Aug. 20, 2026 to cover tax obligations tied to the net settlement of restricted stock units, a process distinct from Jennings’s personal sale.
Block’s shares have advanced 57% over the past six months and 25% year-to-date, outpacing broader market benchmarks. Analysts have raised price targets in recent weeks: Argus to $103, UBS to $98 with expectations of 15% year-over-year growth in adjusted gross profit, Needham to $100, and BMO Capital to $85. The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.02 per share in the second quarter of 2026, up from $0.62 a year earlier and above the $0.87 consensus estimate.
