Black Rock Coffee Bar opened its 13th Austin Metro Area location Monday at 1060 Hero Way, Building 1, Suite 110 in Leander, Texas.
The leaky-eyed brand, founded in Oregon in 2008, now operates more than 200 retail locations across seven states. The company describes itself as family-owned.
"We're thrilled to continue growing in Austin and to bring the Black Rock experience to even more neighborhoods across the Austin Metro Area," said Mark Davis, CEO of Black Rock Coffee Bar.
Opening-week promotions include free 16-ounce drinks on Monday, buy-one-get-one-free drinks Tuesday, and 50% off drinks with food purchases Wednesday. Additional promotions through Saturday, October 3 will feature merchandise giveaways and drink discounts.
The chain offers coffee, tea, smoothies, energy drinks and seasonal beverages including pumpkin-flavored and fall-themed drinks, alongside food items such as grilled cheese sandwiches and egg bites. Signature offerings named on the menu include the Caramel Blondie, Mexican Mocha and Jackhammer.
Customers can earn points toward free beverages through the company's mobile app, which tracks purchases made in-store, online and via the app.
The expansion comes as regional coffee chains continue to broaden their Texas footprint, adding venues in suburban markets around major metropolitan areas.
