Cryptocurrency exchange Binance provided user data to Russian authorities, an action that subsequently led to the arrest of a Ukrainian donor, according to reports.
Binance stated that it cooperates with lawful requests from law enforcement agencies. The exchange previously announced its complete exit from the Russian market in 2023 as part of an effort to overhaul and improve its global compliance strategy.
