Hardware wallet provider BitBox has urged all users to update their devices to firmware version 9.26.5 following the discovery of severe security flaws.
According to the company, the vulnerabilities could have potentially put user funds at risk if left unpatched. However, BitBox confirmed that it has received no reports of malicious exploitation or actual fund losses related to the issue.
Users are strongly advised to apply the latest firmware update promptly to secure their hardware wallets.
