Beamr Imaging Ltd., an Israeli provider of content‑adaptive bitrate technology, announced its entry into the VAST Cosmos Partner Program. The partnership integrates Beamr's compression engine, which can shrink video files by up to 50% compared with conventional encoding, with VAST Data's AI operating system and NVIDIA RTX PRO GPUs.
The combined solution enables NVIDIA Video Super Resolution to upscale lower‑resolution footage to 1080p or 4K, and supports modern codecs such as HEVC and AV1. It can be deployed on‑premises or in private and public clouds, including Amazon Web Services and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Beamr showcased the workflow at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam from September 11‑14, 2026. CEO Sharon Carmel said the integration helps broadcasters maximize the value of their media assets, noting that each asset is evaluated with viewer testing before delivery.
Beamr's technology is protected by 53 patents and has earned an Emmy Award for Technology and Engineering.
