Bladex Inc. (NYSE: BLX) completed a MXN 5.0 billion placement in Mexico's public debt market on September 8, 2026. The offering consisted of three-year floating-rate notes, with interest set at Mexico's one-business-day Interbank Equilibrium Interest Rate, or TIIE de Fondeo, plus 58 basis points. Total orders for the placement reached MXN 7.779 billion, representing a 1.56 times oversubscription.
The notes received local credit ratings of mxAAA from S&P Global Ratings, S.A. de C.V. and AAA (mex) from Fitch México, S.A. de C.V. Placement agents were Casa de Bolsa BBVA México, S.A. de C.V., part of Grupo Financiero BBVA México, and Casa de Bolsa Santander, S.A. de C.V., part of Grupo Financiero Santander México.
