Swiss banking software provider Avaloq has appointed Nidhi Singh as its new Chief Product and Development Officer, effective September 7 at the Zurich headquarters.
Singh, who previously served as Chief Product Officer at Charles River Development, will oversee global product strategy, product management, and engineering. Her responsibilities include driving the next generation of technology solutions for the wealth management sector as part of Avaloq’s Mid-Term Plan 2030.
The appointment follows the planned departure of Fabio Baj from Avaloq’s executive team. Avaloq CEO Martin Greweldinger highlighted Singh’s two decades of experience in product development and complex transformation projects, emphasizing her role in leading large product organizations. Greweldinger also acknowledged Baj’s contributions to the company’s product strategy and software development over the years.
Avaloq, a subsidiary of Japan’s NEC Corporation, provides front-to-back software and services to over 170 financial institutions worldwide.
