Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp. (CSE: API, OTCQB: APAAF) named Kurt Radtke president, effective Sept. 1, 2026, the company said on Tuesday.
Radtke brings more than two decades of senior mining and operational leadership across North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe. His expertise spans mineral exploration, corporate strategy, business development, drilling operations and supply chain management.
Prior to joining Appia, Radtke served as vice president of field operations and logistics at Maaden, Saudi Arabia’s state mining company, where he oversaw mineral exploration planning and execution across the country. He also founded Vestigium LLC, advising boards and executives on operational excellence and corporate transformation. Radtke’s career includes service in the United States Army.
Appia’s portfolio includes a 25% stake in Ultra Rare Earth Inc., which holds 100% of projects covering 42,932.24 hectares in Goiás, Brazil. The company also controls 94,982.39 hectares in Saskatchewan and 13,008 hectares in Ontario’s Elliot Lake Camp.
The move follows recent corporate activity, including the company’s land holdings in Brazil and Canada. Appia’s common shares outstanding total 194.9 million.
Anastasios (Tom) Drivas, CEO and director, said Radtke’s appointment strengthens the executive team as the company advances its rare earth and uranium portfolio.
