ALK-Abello, the Danish allergy immunotherapy specialist, raised its 2026 revenue growth forecast to 14%-16% from 13%-16% after organic sales rose 18% in the second quarter.
The company reported Q2 revenue of 1.80 billion Danish crowns, up from 1.527 billion crowns a year earlier. Operating profit increased 19% to 445 million crowns, while the EBIT margin held steady at 25%. Free cash flow totaled 218 million crowns, compared with 216 million crowns in the same period last year. Capital expenditure declined to 71 million crowns from 104 million crowns.
For the first half of 2026, revenue climbed 18% to 3.57 billion crowns, with operating profit rising 20% to 1.02 billion crowns. The H1 EBIT margin improved to 28%, and free cash flow increased to 889 million crowns from 546 million crowns. The net debt-to-EBITDA ratio stood at negative 0.6.
Tablet sales, the company’s largest segment, grew 22% to 1.01 billion crowns, driven by 27% growth in Europe, 17% in North America, and a 9% rebound in international markets. Subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) and sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) drops sales rose 7% to 515 million crowns, supported by shipments to China. Anaphylaxis and other products, including the Jext adrenaline auto-injector, surged 26% to 267 million crowns.
ALK-Abello maintained its full-year EBIT margin guidance at around 26%, despite reinvesting in growth initiatives. Chief Executive Peter Halling highlighted the company’s "continued double-digit growth" in Q2, attributing the performance to tablet demand and the rollout of the neffy nasal adrenaline spray, now available in 10 markets after launches in Canada and five European countries.
The firm also noted progress in its allergy immunotherapy strategy, with plans to initiate phase 3 development for a peanut allergy tablet in late 2026. In the UK, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence recommended pediatric use of ACARIZAX and ITULAZAX for public healthcare reimbursement.
