AGCO has introduced its Massey Ferguson N-Series split and narrow row planters at the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, marking the global agricultural machinery manufacturer’s latest product launch in the planting equipment segment.
The planters are available in six configurations—23-15, 24-15, 31-15, 32-15, 24-20, and 24-22—each equipped with twin 45-bushel central seed tanks. Optional liquid fertilizer capacity can be configured up to 500 gallons, and the equipment includes in-cab manual weight transfer capabilities. Factory-installed Precision Planting technologies include the 20|20 Gen3, vSet2, vDrive, and DeltaForce systems, while modular options such as WaveVision, SpeedTube, CleanSweep, EMHD, and Pump Stack are available for additional functionality.
AGCO emphasized that the planters operate without grease requirements and do not mandate subscriptions or unlocks, positioning the equipment as a low-complexity solution for growers. The company also showcased updates to its MF 9S Series tractors, featuring Tractor Implement Management and MF AutoHeadland, as well as the MF 5S Series with Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission and the Massey Ferguson double baler.
Forrest Francis, Tactical Marketing Manager for Planters at Massey Ferguson North America, stated that farmers prioritize proven technology without unnecessary complexity. “The N-Series delivers the performance producers need today while giving them the flexibility to adapt as their operation grows,” Francis said.
