WPP said Joanne Wilson will step down as CFO and remain in the role until a successor is appointed to ensure an orderly transition, with her departure date to be determined later. She has held the position for three years and is subject to a 12‑month notice period.
Both WPP CEO Cindy Rose and Wilson highlighted the Elevate28 growth strategy, noting that Wilson helped strengthen the business and financial discipline during the strategy’s first phase and that firm foundations were laid. WPP also confirmed that its 2026 financial guidance, first issued alongside interim results on August 6, 2026, remains unchanged.
The disclosure was made pursuant to the Financial Conduct Authority’s UK Listing Rule 6.4.6R. Wilson is set to join Diageo as its chief financial officer after the notice period concludes.
