Switzerland Updates Sanctions Against ISIL and Al-Qaeda

The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has published an amendment regarding measures directed against individuals and organizations associated with ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaeda.
The update modifies the existing ordinance enacted on March 21, 2025 (SR 946.231.08), which governs sanctions and restrictive measures related to these designated groups. SECO administers these updates to align Swiss regulatory measures with international counter-terrorism frameworks and freezing orders.
