Sharp Corporation has launched a new initiative to produce and sell AI servers, marking a strategic expansion into the data-center hardware sector. The company has begun taking orders for the servers, which will be manufactured by Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., a major global electronics manufacturer. While Sharp will oversee sales and maintenance operations, it will collaborate with partner firms to manage these functions. Full-scale deliveries are scheduled to commence in the fiscal year ending March 2028, indicating a phased rollout of the initiative.
