OTE Buys Back Nearly 300,000 Shares for €5.9 Million

Greek telecom operator OTE repurchased 299,531 shares between Sept. 7-11 at an average of €19.76, bringing its treasury holding to 3.46 million shares or 0.877% of outstanding stock.

OTE Buys Back Nearly 300,000 Shares for €5.9 Million

Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A. purchased 299,531 of its own shares for a total of €5,917,525.74 during the period from September 7 to September 11, the company announced.

The average price paid across the transactions was €19.76 per share, with prices ranging between €19.56 and €20.02 over the five-day window. OTE's buyback activity broke down as follows: 66,795 shares on September 7, 67,420 on September 8, 50,200 on September 9, 46,566 on September 10, and 68,550 on September 11.

Following the repurchases, OTE holds 3,456,893 of its own shares in treasury, representing 0.877% of the company's total outstanding shares. The transactions were carried out under the firm's 2026 share buyback program.

The announcement was issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as well as Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052.
