Integrated Diagnostics Holdings (IDH) reported strong first-half 2026 financial results, with revenue climbing 37% year-on-year to EGP 4.9 billion and net profit rising 47% to EGP 839 million (excluding FX impacts). Gross profit increased 41% to EGP 2.1 billion, while adjusted net profit grew 40% to EGP 802 million, achieving a 16.5% margin. The company’s return on equity reached 43%, reflecting operational efficiency amid a 43.3% gross margin—up from 42% in H1 2025. Despite these gains, IDH’s shares traded down 1.85%, closing at $0.53 after a 16% uplift from its 52-week low of $0.45 but a 36% drop from its peak of $0.83 over the same period. The price-to-earnings ratio stood at 10.89, with a PEG ratio of 0.27 and a free cash flow yield of 9%, according to InvestingPro data. Analysts maintained a Buy rating with price targets ranging from $0.72 to $0.90—higher than the current price but below the stock’s 52-week high.
The company’s Egypt-based core segment, accounting for 86% of revenue, saw revenue rise 41% to EGP 4.2 billion, driven by a 21% increase in tests and a 16% rise in average revenue per test. The network expanded to 793 branches over 12 months, with plans to add 50 more in H2 2026. In Saudi Arabia’s Biolab KSA unit, revenue surged 199% to EGP 76 million (SAR 5.5 million), though operations remain loss-making but narrowing. Nigeria’s Echo-Lab segment reported 12% revenue growth, with EBITDA margins improving to 7% after a 4% price hike in Q2. Meanwhile, Jordan’s volumes grew 10%, while Sudan’s operations remain constrained by conflict.
Management emphasized macroeconomic pressures, noting Egypt’s urban inflation at 14.9% in July and Nigeria’s 15.4%, while Saudi Arabia’s inflation remained stable at 1.8%. Despite guidance for EGP 11 billion in revenue and 46% gross margin in 2026, IDH deferred an interim dividend to preserve cash for expansion, citing geopolitical risks and balance-sheet flexibility.
IDH’s financial health score stood at 3.51/5 on InvestingPro, with strong operational metrics—23.6 million tests performed (20% YoY) and 4.9 tests per patient (a record)—but a stock price still lagging behind its 52-week high. The company’s valuation metrics, however, remain elevated, with a PEG ratio below 1 suggesting potential upside if growth trends persist.
