DHT Holdings Inc. (NYSE: DHT) said it has entered into a three-year time charter agreement for its VLCC DHT Panther at a rate of $100,000 per day.
The contract is scheduled to commence in October 2026 and was arranged with an unnamed global energy company. The vessel, built in 2016, will carry crude oil shipments under the terms of the deal.
DHT Holdings, headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, operates as an independent crude oil tanker company focused on the VLCC segment. Its fleet of crude oil tankers is managed through wholly owned subsidiaries in Monaco, Norway, Singapore and India.
Following the announcement on Sept. 14, shares in DHT Holdings closed at $22.15, up 0.68%. The stock added another 1.13% in after-hours trading to reach $22.40.
