Capstone Energy Delivers Two C1000S Turbines to New Mexico Midstream Project

Capstone Energy+, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEPL), also known as Capstone Green Energy Holdings, has delivered two C1000S Signature Series gas turbines to a midstream natural gas infrastructure project in southern New Mexico, according to a company announcement published September 15, 2026.

The two systems, distributed by Horizon Power Systems as an authorized Capstone distributor, expand the customer’s fleet to 12 Capstone C1000S gas turbine units at the site. The deployment brings 2 MW of distributed power capacity to remote compressor stations in the region, where utility power is unavailable.

The project covers more than 200,000 acres and over 200 miles of gathering pipelines, with six interconnected gas facilities now supported by Capstone's distributed power solutions.

The relationship dates back to 2024, when the client began with an initial rental fleet of eight C1000S systems. In 2025, the client purchased two additional units. In 2026, the client exercised its option to purchase the original eight rental units and acquired two more, completing the current fleet of 12.

Vince Canino, president and CEO of Capstone Energy+, said the company’s low-maintenance design makes its products well suited for remote and challenging operating environments, noting that oil and gas operators have recognized the value of the technology since early development stages.

Sam Henry, principal of Horizon Power Systems, stated that the project demonstrates the value of offering customers a flexible path from rental deployment to long-term ownership.

Through its global distributor network, Capstone Energy+ has shipped more than 10,800 units across 89 countries.
