Boston Beer Names Allison Stransky as Chief Marketing Officer

The Boston Beer Company, Inc. (NYSE: SAM) said Monday, Sept. 8, 2026, that it has named Allison Stransky as chief marketing officer, effective Oct. 12, 2026. Stransky currently serves as vice president and chief marketing officer at Samsung Electronics America, where she oversees corporate marketing and communications, data analytics and AI-led transformation. She will remain with Samsung through the end of September.

Stransky brings more than 20 years of consumer brand marketing experience. Before Samsung, she spent five years at Google, helping clients use data-driven insights to improve advertising effectiveness. In her new role, she will lead Boston Beer's marketing function and oversee brand management, shopper marketing, digital and social media, integrated communications, media, sponsorships, experiential marketing and consumer insights.

She will report to founder and chief executive officer Jim Koch and chief operating officer Phil Hodges, who has served as interim chief marketing officer. Boston Beer's portfolio includes Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, Twisted Tea, Sun Cruiser, Truly Hard Seltzer and Angry Orchard. The company began brewing Samuel Adams beer in 1984.
