Veeva Systems launches AI routing tool for drug safety reports

Veeva Systems (NYSE: VEEV) launched a new AI-powered software tool Monday designed to automatically identify and route safety adverse event reports, product quality complaints and medical inquiries for pharmaceutical companies.

Called Falcon Router, the tool handles triage and routing for email and web intake channels without manual intervention, directing information to Veeva Safety, Veeva QMS, Veeva MedInquiry or designated inboxes. It is part of Veeva's Falcon Agent Suite, which the company describes as agentic labor solutions for life sciences.

"Every biopharma faces this routing challenge, and it grows with every new region and product they bring to market," said John Lawrie, vice president of Veeva Safety. "Fast, reliable triage is more important than ever so that experts can focus on what matters most, the patient."

Falcon Router is scheduled for early adopter availability in January 2027.

Headquartered in Pleasanton, California, Veeva provides cloud-based software applications for the life sciences industry and serves more than 1,500 customers, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.

Veeva's stock closed at $260.21, down 1.34%, on Sept. 18.
