Schouw & Co A/S said on Friday it has raised its 2026 financial outlook after reporting broad-based revenue growth and margin expansion in the second quarter.
The Danish industrial conglomerate, which operates across construction, manufacturing and services, now expects 2026 earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to exceed prior guidance by a mid-single-digit percentage. The company cited sustained demand across its core segments and improved operational efficiency as key drivers of the upgrade.
Schouw reported Q2 revenue of 4.2 billion Danish kroner ($620 million), up 8% year-over-year, while EBIT reached 510 million kroner, a 12% increase compared with the same period in 2025. The group’s operating margin expanded to 12.1% from 11.4% a year earlier, reflecting pricing power and cost discipline.
Chief Executive Officer Flemming Stibbe highlighted the resilience of Schouw’s diversified business model, noting that all major divisions contributed to the performance. "The positive momentum we are seeing across the group is broad-based and sustainable," Stibbe said in a statement accompanying the results.
The company’s construction segment, which accounts for roughly half of total revenue, reported a 9% increase in order intake, while its manufacturing businesses recorded a 7% rise in sales. Services, the smallest division, grew 5% year-over-year.
Schouw maintained its dividend policy, reaffirming a payout of 6.50 Danish kroner per share for 2026, unchanged from prior guidance. The board also announced plans to allocate additional capital toward bolt-on acquisitions in its core markets to support long-term growth.
Shares in Schouw were 2.3% higher by midday trading in Copenhagen following the update, though the stock remains down 4% year-to-date.
