S&P Global expands Copilot data integration with Microsoft 365
Integration aims to enhance productivity tools for financial data users via Copilot AI assistant.

S&P Global has expanded its data integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot, the AI-powered productivity assistant, to enhance financial data accessibility and usability for enterprise clients.
The collaboration builds on existing integrations, enabling users to query S&P Global’s financial datasets directly through Copilot’s natural language interface. This allows professionals in finance, risk management and corporate strategy to retrieve market data, credit ratings and economic indicators without switching between applications.
The expanded integration supports structured queries in areas such as equities, fixed income and macroeconomic trends, aligning with Microsoft’s broader push to embed AI tools into enterprise workflows. S&P Global did not disclose financial terms of the agreement.
The move reflects growing demand among financial institutions for AI-driven tools that streamline data retrieval and analysis. Microsoft 365 Copilot, launched in 2023, has seen adoption across industries, with S&P Global positioning itself as a key data provider within this ecosystem.
Analysts note that such integrations could reduce operational friction for users who rely on multiple financial data sources. The partnership also underscores the increasing role of AI in financial services, where efficiency and real-time data access are critical.
