Outfront Media at Citi’s 2026 Global TMT Conference: Growth and Digital Push

Outfront Media, a company with a market capitalization of $5.1 billion, presented its growth strategies and digital expansion plans at Citi’s 2026 Global TMT Conference. The company, which had a stock price of $28.96 as of September 2026, down $0.44 or -1.50%, reported a trailing twelve months revenue growth of 7.6% and a price-to-earnings ratio of 21.11.

Outfront Media aims to achieve a 50% digital revenue share by 2029, currently sitting at around 30% to 35% of total revenue. The company has about 2,000 digital signs out of 36,000 total signs, with a current digital inventory penetration of about 5.6%. Digital signs generate about four times the revenue of static signs, targeting an internal rate of return of about 20%.

The company provided guidance for Q1 revenue growth of double digits and Q1 AFFO (Adjusted Funds From Operations) growth guidance of mid-teens. Q2 AFFO growth guidance is set at low 20s, and Q3 revenue growth guidance is high single digits. Outfront Media has a potential annual M&A capacity range of $200 million to $300 million a year, with no near-term debt maturities due until 2029. Leverage has improved to the low end of the company’s target range.

Outfront Media’s digital strategy includes partnerships with companies like OpenAI and Anthropic, and the company has a diverse portfolio of locations and installations, including Duffy Square, Times Square, and the West Side Highway. The company also has a presence in New Jersey, the Meadowlands, and London Underground, among others.

The media industry is experiencing an inflation rate of about 5% a year, and Outfront Media’s out-of-home industry sits closer to a 20/80 split between programmatic and direct media, compared to the broader media industry’s roughly 80/20 split.
