New Jersey Resources raises quarterly dividend to $0.50 per share

New Jersey Resources Corporation (NYSE: NJR) announced a raise in its quarterly dividend to $0.50 per share, up from $0.475, giving the company an annualized dividend rate of $2.00 per share.

The increase will be payable on October 1, 2026 to shareholders of record as of September 24, 2026. The move marks 31 consecutive years of annual dividend increases since the company was founded in 1952, during which time it has paid quarterly dividends without interruption.

"This dividend increase reflects the Board's confidence in NJR's financial strength and long-term growth prospects," said President and CEO Steve Westhoven.

New Jersey Resources employs more than 1,300 people and operates through five business segments. Its New Jersey Natural Gas unit provides natural gas transportation and distribution services across six counties in the state. NJR Clean Energy Ventures owns and operates solar projects, while NJR Energy Services manages natural gas transportation and storage assets.

The Storage and Transportation segment includes ownership of the Leaf River facility, the Adelphia Gateway Pipeline, and a 50% stake in the Steckman Ridge natural gas storage facility. The Home Services division provides residential comfort products and services throughout New Jersey.
